Well these look stellar!
I may just have to end up sending one of my sets to one of you with a cheque enclosed! I'm barely finding time to program CVs let alone do repaints!

Very nice, well done!

Seconded!  A super model of a very nice train.

I only managed to travel on one once, as I was normally going from/to Waverley, but I wangled a meeting in York one day and made sure I then travelled up to KX on one of these.  I seem to recall that it was the curve off the King Edward Bridge that restricted use further north to Newcastle and Edinburgh.  Maybe I'm imagining this!

Best wishes.

The Table-Top Railway is an attempt to create, in British 'N' gauge,  a 'semi-scenic' railway in the old-fashioned style, reminiscent of the layouts of the 1920s to the 1950s.

I've a recollection there were issues with the power supplies (in that they drew too much) but also that the deflection on the contact wire from the pantographs was too great, which could cause the rear one to de-wire and bring the whole lot down.

I've got another 2+14 set on my workbench at the moment!

Well done.

Did you use the red stripe decals? Iíve always painted them, as I worried the decals would be a different colour to the (painted) doors.

I did but i didn't make use of the Colour Intensification patches underneath and I'm happy with the outcome especially after a lovely - very GNER - gloss coating
