Thanks Jon,

The backscene is a standard Gaugemaster one, but with a Peedie models house attached and other detailing infront to make it look more like the Great Central Railway, albeit with slightly different housing behind.

Cracking layout, hope to see it in the flesh - or should that be plastic - one day

A bit more weathering to be done and then the forklift truck to add from Woodland Scenics and it's getting closer to being finished.  A couple more GCR locos to add to the fleet including a Black 5 and a 3F jinty on the steam side, and a Class 20, 47, 08 and 25 on the Diesel side along with the Diesel Brake Tender.

Another feature made from a non-working Dapol B1 is this free rolling chassis under going the early stages of restoration.  It was easy enough to dismantle the loco into various parts for this to look right, with the tarp being a blue plastic bag.

What a great little cameo, I've got a couple of dead locos so thanks for the idea.

Couple renumbering projects and a repaint of a Woodland Scenics figure done.  Just the Diesel Brake Tender to complete now and of course, the professional weathering/renumbering of the Diesel locos which are being done by West Coast Resprays.

Here we see 47406 and 45305 on shed in two views which includes the repainted Woodland Scenics "Forklift" truck from a pack of figures.  Looks the part, although doesn't photograph well close up.

Would anyone be interested in seeing this project documented? so far I've only primed the 3D print from Shapeways, but happy to put up pics and some text around this if anyone is interested, although I think it has been covered before on here.

See Mickster04 post here (although it mentions white metal it deals with the Shapeways print)

I'd also be interested in what you have as I'm not keen on the Knightwing white metal bodies.
