Farish Hall only run backwards

I have a Poole farish  hall ran great until a couple of days ago, now will only run backwards any ideas please.

From my experiance that could be one of the little nylon bearings worn out causing the armature to touch the pole pieces but going forwards the thrust on the gears keeps it central if that makes any sense.I had a pannier that wouldnt go backwards I stripped it down gave it a full clean and replaced both bearings and it ran like a new loco ,Unfortunately I dont have any more bearings left or I would have sent you a couple .B R Lines still had some in stock when I last looked on their site .

If you have - or can get bearings - great!

If not....

I've used the old bearings drilled out to accept ptfe tube as the replacement bearings.
