Nothing so complicated - he has a book of old postcards.  ;)

A loco close-up for a change. A B1 almost sparkling in the sun.

All Quiet on the Western Wrenton Front.

But not for long as the 'Officer' has pulled off home and platform starting signals.  I think I'll hang around for a few minutes to see what arrives.

That's a great photograph Roger.  I think it is actually enhanced by not having a train in view, if you get my meaning.

Thank you very much.

John

The Table-Top Railway is an attempt to create, in British 'N' gauge,  a 'semi-scenic' railway in the old-fashioned style, reminiscent of the layouts of the 1920s to the 1950s.

It's probably my favorite spot on your layout, Roger!

Yes that pic sums up your layout, attention to detail. If I can get my layout looking half has good I will be happy.

Roger,
I don't comment much, but do look frequently.  Your layouts, as well as the model photography, is exemplary and a true inspiration to anyone starting out in N gauge as to just what can be achieved.  Absolutely superb!

Apologies to anyone in advance that thought the previous picture was the 'bees knees' but you really can't beat an 'A4' :)
