Hi all,

We provided decals with the 4mm TEAs featuring green blanking patches and white VTG lettering to allow Freightliner versions to be rebranded.

We'll certainly consider producing decals representing the grey patches painted onto the Cemex branding.

Cheers

Ben A.

Anyone know when the early bird price closes ? Trying to decide if I “need” any more adding to my order.. I seem to get carried away with revolution orders..
Still not sure I need 29 class b’s but the are rather nice,  is 14 HOA’s enough I wonder ?

Early bird ends tomorrow. Given you're getting a price markedly below the retail I'd get a few spares, you can always sell them on at a profit upon delivery. Better return than any savings accounts!

Handy clicky link to the shop.

If you're doing it properly you need at least 50% more than that ;-)

Hello all,

Just a gentle reminder that it's early bird deadline day for our HOA hoppers.

We are offering two types - original with body-mounted parking brake wheels ad four reinforcing panels...

...and VTG versions with bogie mounted parking brake wheel and 6 reinforcing panels.

The first type are in EWS, Cemex, Ermewa/Tarmac and DB liveries, the VTG in VTG/Mendip Rail for Mendip stone trains.

You can still order them after midnight tonight, but you'll pay more.

For more information, and a link to the order page, see here: http://www.revolutiontrains.com/news/

Cheers

Ben A.

Decided I “needed” another 7 HOA’s, 21 will have to do I think. So really it’s buy 20 get 1 free with the early bird  :D

I am really delighted these wagons are being produced, even though they have left a large hole in my bank balance. Finally, something for my CJM 59s.
Cheers,
Ged.

Just a quick question are there plans to issue any with a flashing tail light? Like the single IZAs.

Hi Intercity,

We looked at it but there isn't enough space in the area between the outer cover and the inner sloped face.

The only way to fit in the PCB, battery, switch etc would've been to put it in the bay and have a false load over the top.

We did consider this but felt it was just too much of a compromise, especially as on these wagons the lamp sits on a lamp iron on the bufferbeam.  On the IZAs they are hard against the flat end of the wagon.

We are investigating the possibility of providing a lighting "set" comprising the PCB, clear light guide and tail lamp moulding for customers to fit as they wish, but for now the focus is on delivering the wagons!

Cheers

Ben

just a hole with a path from the buffer to the hopper that can be threaded with a 1mm fibre optic would be great.

Hello all,

We have received EP1 samples of the forthcoming HOA hoppers, in both bodystyles.

They'll be on display on the Revolution Trains stand at the York exhibition this coming Easter weekend, and I will post photos here after the show unless someone beats me to it!

cheers

Ben A.
