Dapol auto coaches 'new' on their website
« on: February 17, 2016, 07:21:05 AM »
Noticed the auto coaches are shown as new on the dapol website? Does anyone know if they have simply been re-released or have they been changed at all?

the new ones now have NEM pockets on them compared to the olds ones with spring couplers!

i would also say the detailing is better!

I didn't realize the older version didn't have the NEM pockets! Very glad they have them on this version. Mine looks very nice photographed with the forward coupling removed. Here it is with and without:

The more recent GWR livery one has better more detailed paintwork. The shade is still a little dull though. I have varnished mine and it looks a lot better. Also the addition of a vac pipe and coupling and a lamp makes a lot of difference.
