True, not good and I too believe communication is king.

Osborn's are a small family run business though and I tend to be more forgiving of them than I am of other retailers. I once paid for some GF Mk3 coaches at the Abingdon show, which Maurice didn't have with so he promised to despatch on his return to Bideford. A couple of months later I realised I hadn't received my coaches. A quick email fired off, followed by an apology in reply and a delivery a few days later. A small inconvenience painlessly resolved.

I wish they were still in Abingdon!

I emailed the same email that came to me and explained the situation, 10 days later still no acknowledgment, no refund, no replacement GPV.

Hi

Sincere apologies for any mixup with your order.
If you could let me know  your name I can look into this for you.

 :claphappy: Thank you Michael @MKP

After highlighting issues over the weekend Michael resolved everything on Tuesday as he said and my missing wagon was delivered to me today.

So all sorted out with minimum fuss and must say, were all human, things get forgotten and mistakes get made but true to his word Michael sorted everything out as quickly as possible as promised.

My initial disappointment is now gratitude and praise,   :thankyousign:

Placed an order on Sunday, the 4th, got the confirmation email as usual. I hadn't heard anything else the following couple of days after (my experience with buying online is that they'll usually email you at some point about the status of your order after the confirmation, if they haven't shipped it already), so I sent an email last Thursday. I got a response that they would look into it but haven't heard anything else. I know most of the board here live in the UK, has anyone else stateside ever ordered from Osborn's?

Jeff, I've not ordered anything yet, but have some things in my basket with them - holding up ordering until I have enough to justify the cost of shipping. I'll watch out here for the resolution to your order before proceeding with mine.
