Peco Scissors wiring
« on: February 19, 2016, 12:39:24 PM »
Hi , I am about to install a Peco code 55 scissors crossing to a layout currently under construction but have got myself somewhat confused about the wiring for the points ( especially the scissors) and am hoping that someone on here can help, I am using Cobalt omega analogue motors controlled by Lenz LS100 accessory decoders fitted with LA010 3 wire to 2 wire adaptors , i'm especially hoping to get a reply from somebody currently using this exact setup as i've read no end of conflicting advice .

Thank you Bealman , it's good to see an Aussie on here ( I was in Perth for 2 years 65-67 ) and have very fond memories of that time .

I have two annotated drawings in Excel which show exactly how to wire it up for dcc BUT I have no idea how to load it on here.  Would you like me to send you emails with it attached?

@terrysoham - is the Excel diagram still available? If so, I will PM you my email address for a copy too. I could try to save this as a PDF file and load onto the Forum too so that other members can download direct and it will be saved here for posterity.

If any one is interested in how the sections breakdown on the Peco scissors - I took some photos and can post some marked (e.g. annotated) photos also that may compliment Terry's work.
