Hi  had email from NGS suggesting about to be dispatched as a query over my order had arisen.

Robert

Following Alan (Treasurer & husband of Gill -Shop Manager) Reed's medical occurrence while on holiday, I managed to inveigle members of the Chester Area Groups to help out with the Thompson distribution!  At our meetings on Friday, I handed out seven batches comprising 200+ orders (350+ models) to members for packing and posting (including yours, Robert!).

So depending on how soon better halves release husbands from their chores for long enough to do the necessary, the bulk of people who paid their balances online in the first half of October should get their models shortly, followed not too long afterwards (hopefully) by everyone else who has paid up so far.  And once that has been boxed off, we should be in the position to make the remainder available for purchase in the normal way.

In the meantime, any queries relating to pre-orders or balances should be sent to me for the time being (contact details in the journal).

A package was waiting today, I had ignored it until I saw my NGS membership number on it!

All I can say is wow! Great job by everyone involved including those who have stepped in and helped with distribution.

Roy

My pair of blue BGs arrived today. I'm impressed with the door handles and hand-rails. From a distance they look like very fine added parts but are actually molded as part of the body and then very finely painted with the end result that they look better than they would with overscale metal parts.

Happy modelling.

Steven B.
