Railfreight loco colours
« on: May 21, 2015, 07:33:48 PM »
Reference the Railmatch range of acrylics ................

is 2204 correct for the red stripe on the lower bodyside of Railfreight locos?  the description I have refers to "red freight stock" so I wondered if I needed something different?

2226 seems to be the shade of grey required for locos in early Railfreight days, but could I ask please, did this shade extend to include the roof (dirt and grime excluded!)

thank you

Adrian

From the Railmatch paint list, there appears to be only one red applicable at the time, so that would be correct

Yes, the grey extends from the roof down the entire bodyside
