Many thanks for these Al.  The Peanuts Cartoons are possibly the only ones that I make a point of reading whenever I come across them, particularly those with Snoopy in his fighter pilot guise.

Hi Al,

You have a fabulous layout, one which I hope to see in real life at some stage, meanwhile thank you for all the photos and info posted here.

I enjoy watching modelling videos on Youtube, and recently found a channel I had not seen before. While looking through the content I found this, which I thought you may find interesting ....

There are a couple of other parts after this.

With all best wishes,

Kevin

With all the 2019 show commitments completed, I’m turning my thoughts forward to next years show season. 2020 is a significant year for the layout as it is the 75th anniversary of the capture of the bridge and the end of World War 2. To mark this I have a new plaque for the layout.

That'd make a nice avatar for yourself.

I must confess to neglecting this forum a little bit, so heres some catch up news.

On the subject of cameos, keep an eye out for the latest one to be added for the 2020 show season.

A heads up. The flying ace might be one of the answers to the children's quizzes.... ;)

A new loco has joined the fleet. This one is a Br62 and it will be working a new coal train that's been added to the roster.

There's also been a bit of progress on the scenery with the Flak Sdkfz8 getting a bit of camouflage, and the recon Sdkfz234's have joins the rest of the tank company beneath the trees.

And we did a one day show at All set up at Eden Park for the West Wickham and Beckingham Railway club the other month. A Saturday only and the last show for the 2019 exhibition calendar.

If you miss this one you’ll have to wait until February 2020 in Glasgow for the next chance
