Would the bike be a Bantam? I always wanted one of those in the 60s, but ended up with a Lambretta 250 instead.

Yep. D7 Bantam. Always been a Brit bike fan. Been riding them since I was a teenager.

Is there an 's' or a 't' missing from 'fatest'? :P
I used to get the rip taken out of me as I rode Triumphs which supposedly leaked oil.

Had a couple of Triumphs over the years. Once had a beautiful T150...

Nice bikes Mick, I never passed my test, so was limited to the Lambourne and when that died, a Honda CD175.
The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

Motorbikes aside. Back to the railway.

Not done much today except apply a bit of paint and give the room a good tidy up. However it feels lie I've made massive progress. Really feel like the layout is starting to come together...  :D

Spent a bit of time making the little barge and access ramp today. This sits on the west bank just down stream of the bridge.

No. This is a small barge for river traffic moor against. It will at some point have a flotilla of e-boats moored to it.

The barge Angel fell off was upstream of the bridge. I not found a good photo of it yet to base a model on.

Are those the twin-unit diesel locos. used by the Wehrmacht to pull artillery guns into position?
