May seem a daft question but whats the differance with the power twin, does it have power at both ends ?

Yes both units have a motor of their own

Thanks I have just bought one,108's are a bit hard to find now I think GF are developing new replacements. Do I need two chips then for DCC and how do you run them, as a consist ? or give both the same number.

Hi everyone,

I just wondered if anyone knew of any kit that would supply the headcode box if you wanted that version of the 108.? Or if anyone has tempted to create one in N Gauge to have a 108 like this: https://www.hattons.co.uk/21264/bachmann_branchline_32_902a_class_108_2_car_dmu_br_blue_grey_exeter_paignton/stockdetail.aspx
I have 4 108ís & would love the headcode box version, having given up on Farish doing that version of the unit in N for many years lol!

Cheers,
Mark

Its relatively simple to do with plasticard and filler.
I have spent many happy (sic) hours converting Minitrix class 27s to Class 33s and Lima 31/0s to 31/1s.
Mind you, they didn't cost what they do now!

yeah Iíve been thinking of trying that Bob, but just scared of messing it up, & the Blue & grey unit is quiet scarce now if it went pear shaped lol!
Plus the price as you say.
I was just thinking if someone did the headcode box in brass or plastic so it would fit over the destination blind on the roof dome. Not seen a headcode box 108 modelled at all in N gauge so thought Iíd put it out there...

Cheers,
Mark

Mark. Ray here may be able to help http://www.bhenterprises.co.uk/  I'm not sure what he has in stock. Maybe the next job plasticard after the move on the 108. Have you any old coaches to practice on
