I just watched your pictures and videos and they are really great. Additionally, your way of modeling and the way you make your ideas become reality is close to mine I think. So I can learn a lot from your layout and I will keep watching. :)

The detail at the station by the ' throat ' / approach looks extremely realistic

Whenever I watch these videos, I am constantly reminded of the care that must have been taken with the track and ballasting of this huge layout.

The trains run so well.

Eeeek, Happy Sunday all,

small update, the cover-up of the left-hand helix is ' work in progress '

the three houses are getting an 'eye-catching' position, they are based on houses which you can find in a neighbouring village, the church opposite those houses is next

it took a while and still loads more of foliage but the first impression is really nice

Although I noticed that the roof on the left-hand side can use a bit of a hair cut :)

Best regards, Maurits

My hairdresser (sadly closed at the moment, of course) would use a number one, I think  ;)

A number two would just cause the thatch to grow faster maybe. A number one would at least reduce any fire hazard.

Itís unusual to see turf roofed houses in this country, so where is your layout located? Or maybe you will dye them yellow to represent thatch.
The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

Happy Easter all.

Looks more like a stacked roof now ;) ;), The stacked roofs from the original houses are deep brown witch patches of what looks like rust, so have tried to get a similar effect using the airbrush, pleased with the result

detailing now :)

Best regards

Happy Saturday all.

No lockdown or Furlough here, absolutely flat out workwise so really happy that I had 2 nights for myself.

The Waresley houses are almost finished, they are a real eye-catcher

Scenery fits nicely into the rest of the scenery, although the surrounding areas need some additions now :), with a bit of luck I am able to run some trains later today

best regards

Are they the ones from Hunt Couplings or something you have developed?
