I did like the Class 50.  Fifteen coaches up Lickey unaided!  It was a bit of a struggle, but it made it over the top with a bloop, bloop, bloop.
With kind regards
Laurence

I went in the loft today purely to do a video for you Mick but unfortunately I failed. I was going to video the 3 new 50's and 66 789 but suffered numerous derailments with all 3x 50's. I read somewhere on the forum that this can be an issue so I'll need to look that up before I do a video. Sorry.

So, here's a photograph from my holiday instead.

Thanks John.
My Mum and I did the full descent in Funchal 2001.
Sadly 9/11 occurred while we were there :(

Sounds like you already know it's only a part-run now, just 2km. Still fun though.

More surprisingly you didn't even mention my T-shirt  :'(

Isn't that the same prison they kept Norman Stanley Fletcher in? ;)

What?!?!? I struggle to split Floyd and Slade in my favourite bands list and have seen Slade loads of times! Never been disappointed either. Unlike Floyd who I have never seen as I'm too young. I have seen Aussie Floyd though and will see them again next month at the Bath Forum

What?!?!?

I refuse to believe you don't remember Fletcher, Lenny Godber et al from 'Porridge' (H.M. Slade)
Slade and Floyd are on my 'never saw but wished I had' list.

Thanks for that. You do a very good Rick Wright and Roger Waters! I learned to play that song too. It's a good one.

thanks for the video and pictures I don't feel so bad now when I look at my collection. As some wise sage once wrote, you can never have enough trains, or something like that.
