Wow that's a superb shed! The backscenes look very good too. These must be the International Models/Gaugemaster ones. I was looking at getting a few of these myself and yours has convinced me to go for them.

That fiddle yard looks busy though!

Evening All!

For starters i thought i'd share the pic in Model Rail, just because i feel like it :D

Now for the actual update, I have done a fair bit of work on the second board! Last night i decided to get a bit more of the cutting done and the following shows how it looks now:

This is a general view of how the board looks now

The space that is yet to be 'grassed' will be home to a local pub (name undecided). And of course trees and hedgesare still to be added

Afternoon NGF!!! First of all Many thanks for the comments Guys  :NGAUGE:

Secondly I must have had a recent blow to the head as i have been having a tidy up and in the process made the layout look a bit more presentable. These two pics show the scenic section as they look now (well 10 mins ago to be precise):

I remember a comment on one of my earlier pics about my fiddle yard (i had many boxes stacked on it) well i have sorted this out :) As this is designed for exhibition the fiddle yard will not be in public view. To do this a piece of hardboard has been painted black and wil be attached as shown below:

And this is what is behind it (note the lacking of stock boxes):

Joe, my fellow modeller, coursemate and future roomie had an old ratio signal box spare we decided to add some colour to the fiddle yard:

Also for the first time ever i have altered ready to run stuff!! I have painted the roof of my Stove R as the white just looked odd:

I have also added crew and lamps to my Peco Collett:

The final bit of news is that i have recently made a purchase from Ultima Models. I have decided to have my first go at building a decent coach kit, so for some reason i chose a very difficult Hawksworth Inspection Saloon (May take a while):

Any thoughts?

I actually haven't built much of it, at the momment i've only made the basic shape which was fairly straight forward. I've yet to start the detail bits as they scare me lol!

Give it a while before you start.
I rushed into it a year last Xmas and was disapointed with the results. A new range of motive powered stock is now available and seems a vast improvement but I`ll let it rest for a few more months yet
