Hi all,

As soon as we hear from Rapido that they are en route we'll let everyone know, unfortunately  Gareth (who does the Rapido design work on Revolution models in Canada) is off today.

Once we know they are en route then Mike and I will have to gird our loins (ooer) ready for the dispatch process - but we think it should be simpler than it was for the tankers as Mike says the website address data interface has improved significantly, allowing far quicker label printing.

We are expecting to confirm what additional models are available soonish; this will be via an email newsletter in the first instance.

Cheers

Ben A.

Strong winds in UK port means the ship can't berth-or the cranes can't work..........:0))

Container lorry can't leave the port due to rioting N Gauge modellers demanding their Pendolinos.

Is no update good news?
Geominster was my first project which has now been dismantled.

Having learnt so much from Geominster this is the new project.

No news is errr no news! Any news has to cross several timezones - China to Canada to UK - IIRC China is +8, Canada is -5 which by my calculations means we should hear news in the UK before it has left China!

Seriously, as Ben said on Thursday night we will let people know as soon as we have anything to tell people.

Cheers, Mike

They wont get here any quicker if we keep asking , as Mike has said as soon as they have information we will be told .
But it is getting exciting now and I must admit that I want to know if they are actually on their way at least on board the ship
When I spoke to Ben at Stevenage he said that they did consider them coming by the train or even plane but the cost would have been prohibitive and might  have left them out of pocket if they used the plane so they  would have had to charge more for postage  and regarding the train it was  not much quicker than the ship and after all the work and time theyve spent on the project they both need to make a little bit of a reward.
So guys and girls we will.just have to have a little bit more patience and hope the sea is calm ,no pirates , mermaids ,guns sea monsters ,riots at the port,Tsunnamis or sabatage by a rival firm and when they do reach port that thre are no strikes and the crane works without dropping the container and its loaded safely on the lorry which is not held up by any accidents or road works ,floods or trees blown over and no snow or ice.
There I think thats covered nearly every conceivable eventuality now its just lets wait and see when.they do arrive.
One things for sure if they all perform like the one on Law Junction at Stevenage  which Arran ran at full speed  when I asked him  ,he worked out it was  doing a scale 140 M P H   so we wont be disapointed and I bet Ebay will be busy with all those people trying to make alot of money .Me personaly  I  wont even think of selling my Popylino .no matter how much we are struggling financially at the moment ,My familly bought it for me for Christmas and paid in full at the initial order time  and Im keeping it .

Hello all,

Just for avoidance of doubt, if we had them airfreighted we'd have had to chase people for a suppplement to the P&P already paid to cover this which we thought unreasonable.

Apart from the 3 left with us by Rapido at Warley - which are doing the magazine rounds - everyone including us will get their models at the same time. Or at least, as quick as the postman delivers it!

Cheers

Ben A.

Remember if the ship sails East, it will arrive a day earlier!

Exciting news from Revolution that Rapido have done some “City of Birmingham” units with the newer plain grey doors. Another 11-car sound one duly ordered!

Sounds like they’re on the boat too, exciting times all round!
