1959 Underground train
« on: May 15, 2014, 07:40:16 PM »
 :hellosign:

I have noticed that there is a an advert in the Shapeways site for 1959 underground coaches.

I have been in contact with Shapeways about the chassis and their very prompt reply enabled me to traced a Tomytec chassis.

Before committing my hard earned pension to purchasing the coach bodies and the chassis, I wondered if anyone had experience of building and painting a train from these 3D bodies and could advise on the ease with which they can be built.

Thanks in anticipation
N J Bennett

Adam Warr has just been producing vinyls to go with these shells.

Thank you.

It looks and sounds like the real thing..

The chassis required is now numbered TM-05 R, according to the person who e replied from Shapeways last night.

I didn't make myself clear enough it seems. I was the one who replied and it is my kit.

I know that a few have been sold, but I have not had a lot of feedback yet.

Looks the part Bob, any chance of seeing one with Adam's vinyls?
The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

Thanks Bob. They do look magnificent. Must remodel layout to fit a set in.
