Always liked the Peabody hoppers. They had mines in western Kentucky about an hour and a half's drive from where I am. Some stuff is still out there. There's also a song the Peabody company is mentioned in about the town of Paradise, Kentucky (which is long gone).

Haven't had the chance to run it yet, but this arrived yesterday. Still need the Santa Fe passenger car that goes with the set. (Didn't realize it went).

Hi Jeff, I didn't realize Kato produced the Mikado in Nickel Plate lettering, nice find.

I haven't bought much as of late with all the CV stuff going around...but did pick this up on ebay. The seller was in Kentucky, so it didn't have to travel too far. New one is on the left.

I bought a pair of them when the PRR passenger set came out recently. Both are excellent runners, Kato is always top notch! Not used to having something with a catenary on top! ;D

My latest purchase arrived today, a very nice Kato SD80MAC #4103 and an Atls Conrail boxcar plus Caboose, for the excellent price of $56 (£44 ish).

For some reason all my pictures are rotated, and I canít  correct them, edit when I select rotate image I have to select the image again from my library then hit edit.

I have a couple of the Kato SD80MAC locomotives - lovely models, in both looks and running.
