Give the Copydex another 10 minutes to fix the cork in place and I'll be able to start the final section of ballasting on the branch.

The odd scraps of timber jutting out from under the roadbed will support the expanded polystyrene scenery.

As mine runs so well I was considering a second, but then the DJM King deposit was announced so Iíll have to stick at one for now!

I am being well-behaved (for a change) and resisting all temptation to re-order a Grange.

All my railway dosh is now locked away for the forthcoming City of Truro from Colin Heard and of course the special treatment she will get from @Ozymandias.

Colin advises delivery should be 'end of September into October.'  :claphappy: I buzz that info into the UM thread too.

Indeed, and my new lift-out section for the temporary branch loop won't help matters :D

Running from the paint pot on the left to the Copydex pot on the right, it's just held in place with a few screws and small piles of timber offcuts.  Some cork strips prevent the loose track from shifting sideways, but other than that the only thing keeping trains from the floor is my staunch belief that I'm driving a train rather than a Scalextric set  ;)

I'll be in trouble if the Peter Charles Fagg coaches take a dive, though.  I might extend those brightly coloured little bollards the full length of the line :D

At long last, another cab ride video.  This one shows the bare bones of the new branch line.

Note there is no sound to this, I was playing copyrighted music loudly on the gramophone and YouTube quite rightly tends to block such things!

Hi Steve,

Smooth running. Big layout. Lovely.

Saw the Peter Charles Fagg Competition coaches in the sidings. Nice gesture but hope you're not trying to sway the judges ;)

Great stuff. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers weave  :beers:

That is really smooth running - well done.
Newport Nobby is going to have palpatations over that raised section with no side walls.   You have been warned!   :D

If it looks right then it most probably is right.

Excellent, Steve; thank you very much.

Your cab ride films are wonderfully hypnotic.

Thanks again.
