Blimey, Steve; the fireman of that '4F' will be desperate for a goods loop.  The pressure gauge and the water gauge glasses will be racing each other downwards.

This lower viewpoint gives a clue as to what I'm aiming for, with trains snaking through scenery.  There should be no pointwork in this section, as long as I can resist Modellers' Itch to put in two stations, an oil refinery and a marching band

Hopefully room for a nice overbridge with a motor omnibus on top, though...

Great pictures; thank you very much.

The Table-Top Railway is an attempt to create, in British 'N' gauge,  a 'semi-scenic' railway in the old-fashioned style, reminiscent of the layouts of the 1920s to the 1950s.

I might go for a Tomytec moving bus at some point, but shall endeavour to keep it away from overbridges :D

Underbridges, however...  Hmm, do they do one where the top deck comes off? :hmmm:

Ballasted the recently fixed-down tracks in the foreground this morning.

Those Mermaids must be Teflon-coated, there's not a mark on them after many ballast deliveries :D

A small and timely delivery from Keith at Traintrax today.  Various bits that were holding up progress, including some 315mm single track viaduct sections

In order to conceal the power feed for these I've run a cable up a 50mm pier (with added holes) and soldered it onto the rails/joiners.  Should look better than on the last layout when I had them dangling free!
