That's really starting to look the part now. And for those who wish to forego the joys of painting...

Paul,

Not a vehicle I'm overly familiar with - pretty sure I never saw them in service - but it looks like you're getting there. Well done for sticking with it!

Cheers

Ben

That will be a big help, particularly for the later, stripy liveries.  :thankyousign:

Later liveries do need a slightly different body (gangway removed, headcode boxes plated or removed). Royal Mail livery always looked good on them.

So after some discussions with Alan (thanks again!) we have gone with Torpedo syle vents, sorry about the diagram quality and I assure you the roof is smooth really :) !!...

A bit more progresssion.

Found a cut and paste bug.... CHECK BACK LATER!  :dunce:

Roof, Vents and Exhausts.

I have been in talks with a supplier to supply a full set of Waterslide transfers for this model in BR blue "Parcels Service", will allow for two head code types and a choice of three running numbers.

Next to the roof lip guttering as I wan't happy with the first attempt so removed it!  :thankyousign:

They are very small on the photo but are the torpedo vents round the right way?

This is 55993.  From what I remember 55991 and 55992 kept their gangways but they were sealed. 55993 - 55995 lost their's

Nice!

I would have liked it ready for this weekend, but quality comes first.... need to go back and re-check the vent angle as one looks sqew but they are an object so it's probably a picture illusion!....

That looks great. I'd love one in Royal Mail Letters livery. Might donate my dummy NSE 121 chassis to it!
