D1015 Western Champion
« on: September 03, 2013, 11:58:41 AM »
Hi folks,

D1015 Western Champion (one of my favourite locos) is on the main-line again on Saturday 7th September working a railtour to Weymouth. The loco hauls the train from Bescot via Kidderminster, Cheltenham, Bath, Westbury and Yeovil and returns via Southampton, Didcot, Evesham, Worcester and Kidderminster to Bescot. A class 67 is booked from Leicester to Bescot and back.

For anyone interested, timings are available here:

Best Regards,
Andy Hoskins
Falkirk
Best Regards,
Andy

You probably won't be able to head over & see her, but she heads North later this month - Sat 21st Sept sees her go from Tyseley, New Street, Wolverhampton, Stafford, Crewe, and then up to Carlisle via the S&C Viaduct, returning the coast route.
