Yes it's a U.S. Kit, Walthers I think. Glad that you've found some inspiration from our little layout.  :thankyousign:

Horseblock Lane is out for a hoover and brush up before heading off to the Chelmsford and District Model Railway Show this Saturday.

Testing has seen us go a bit 'retro' with cowled buffer beam class 37 placing two depressed centre bogie cement wagons at the unloading point.

I should add that there are 5 other N gauge layouts at the show including the excellent Dentdale, so worth the entry fee for N gaugers I'd say!

Those cement wagons are looking great!   Cheers  Jon  :)

I predict the engineering works staff will have some relief from the summer heat this time......

How mysterious.... ???

Come and see if you can spot why.

All set up and ready to go last weekend at the East Ham Finescale show in Rainham.

At the risk of boring you all with the same old shots of a small layout  54"x11, (there are only so many angles) here are a few from the day.

The Class 70 has on occasion been usurping the 37 on the cement workings  lately.

Jon is seen here 'out front' with a visitor trying out his 'periscope' to view the layout.

Our last trip out this year is Shoeburyness on 21st/22nd November. In the new year we will be at the CMRA show in St Albans on January 16th/17th 2016.

Latest wagon visiting Horseblock Lane this weekend will be the NGS kit KSA timber wagon I built for Andrew Evans. It will get a shakedown at the Shoeburyness show which is our last one for this year.

We will have to send him a photo as he hasn't had his hands on it yet!
