These are the newer versions...

Ref No    Year            Livery                    Running No
374-120    2013    BR Crimson/Cream     W1900

374-120A    2018    BR Crimson/Cream     W1900

I wonder why there are two different ref no's with the same running no.

Are there any instances of this with other BachFar items, or could it imply detail differences such as bogies perhaps?

A Farish item with a letter after the catalogue number indicates a re release usually with a different running number.. Letters from the back end of the alphabet (x,y,z)may indicate a special edition.

Cheers
Mark

I spoke to someone om the Bachman stand at ally pally on Saturday and asked him why no date had been set for the release of the chocolate/cream RU - he said he didn't know as it was not on his list so it may not appear until 2019!. I told him that given that this was a re livery of an existing vehicle, that it seemed rather pointless announcing it in 2018 then.

Regards,

Alex

And we're still awaiting its arrival ... or did I blink and miss it!   :uneasy:

@ten0G
No - you haven't missed it. Farish website updated 24.9.19 shows 374-123 availability as being 'TBA'

I sent a query to Bachmann via their website a couple of days ago, this was the answer:

Dear Mr Daniell,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us.

At present we are awaiting a confirmed release date for this item and so it is likely to arrive during 2020. When a release date is known it will be shown on our website at
https://www.bachmann.co.uk/availability/
Thank you for your continued support of Bachmann Europe.

Kind regards,

Richard

so we can only hope that they come out next year, apart from providing evidence that at least one RU was built in chocolate and cream (W1902 in 1957) I don't know what else we can do but wait

Regards,

Alex
