If you're going to have a station, the logical place would be using the 2 tracks - maybe just an island platform with Peco subway steps as access/egress
That was my thoughts it will modernized so little in way of buildings just modern type bus stop style good example on Boston station. Thanks for the input

You'll get various replies about backscene heights but, at the end of the day, only you know what sort of buildings you'll be using - factory chimneys above the backboard can lead to accidental damage, for example :hmmm:

Re done the back story what do you think?

                                            Goseunderton Junction
Layout size 7 foot by 2 foot
N Gauge
Moving a couple of miles up the track from Goseunderton we come to the junction which because of the strategic importance it was not axed here you will see a small halt station were the track splits and is reduced to single track because of poor ground conditions so the main line goes off to a busy port and MOD site the branch feeds a small but important town. The setting is a rural location in Lincolnshire. Just to watch the trains go so could be a good spot for train spotters.
The layout name comes from the fact when not in use the layout lives under the bed Lincolnshire people could say that it should be Gosberton?
