thanks very much Ged, I always admired Chris's work but could never justify acquiring any of his work.

I have used some of Adam's vinyls and am very happy with the results.

keep up the good work always admire your videos.
Cheers
Graham

Hi Folks
It has been a long time since I provided an update on my loft layout. Prolonged family illness meant very little was accomplished over several months. All is well again now so I have been able to return to the loft.
I have spent quite a bit of time weathering stock and track in Wansbeck Yard and Gedvale Colliery.
In a previous video I illustrated how I installed a Kato Turntable. I was so delighted with it that I purchased a second one for the larger Leefield West Depot. That was 2 years ago and I have only now got round to installing it.
So, this video shows the latest progress:

great to have a new video to watch, I was only looking on YouTube the other day to see if there was a new one I had missed. Will get to watch it this afternoon after the working bee at my local model railway club.

Hi Gents

This period of isolation has given me the time to create another video. The first part of the video is an explanation of Forced Perspective. Using buildings and vehicles of different sizes to create the illusion of distance across a layout.
It is interesting how the different N Gauge standards in the UK, Japan and USA/Europe are helpful in this regard.

Hi All

Some folks on another group asked about the buildings that are seen at the start of my last video, mentioned above.

The parcels offices were part of the Graham Farish and Bachmann Scenecraft range, but unfortunately they are no longer available. The Diesel Fuel Tanks were Hornby. The N Gauge ones were from the Lyddle End range and the 00 ones were from the Saledale range.
Although no longer made, the N Gauge Fuel tanks are for sale on Ebay.
Cheers,
Ged.

Hi Folks

I have just finished another video of my loft layout that you may wish to view. This is a cab ride in a Class 158 on the Ashpeth Circular. The video quality, from inside the cab, is not too good due to the use of a very small camera and occasional interference from electric cables.
However, it does give a completely different view of the layout.

What a great video! It puts the layout in a whole new perspective.

Great narrative too, I should get you to record a VoiceOver for the videos of my layout

Excellent. In fact one of the best layout cab rides I've seen.

Well done, Sir!!

That's a very long circuit -  apologies if it has been posted, but how long is it?

Thanks Gents!
Answering your question Bealman, That circular journey is 78 feet in length. It does not go round the whole layout but the Northern and General Main Line is the longest Main Line on the layout.
