Most certainly enjoying them! A most entertaining 10 minutes with the last one.

Your mine scene looks great.... full of dilapidated character.

I recognise the dear old Pola hopper building in there. I think I first saw that in a new product review in RM back around 1967 or so, and remember thinking it was a wonderful kit, and why didn't Airfix produce one!! (I was Triang OO back then).

Anyhow, I eventually got one back in the eighties, but can't for the life of me remember what happened to it. I probably have a photo of it somewhere.

Anyway, a great video and a very convincing mine scene.

Hullo Ged!

I've just been rewatching some of your excellent videos and find myself hankering for more! Are any films currently planned/in production/in post-production? Your railway and commentary always brings a smile to my face and inspires me to get to work on my own projects. I hope all is well and look forward to the next installment (whenever it comes) :)

Hi Philip

I am really glad that my layout brings pleasure to more people than just myself. Thank you. It means a lot!
More videos are in the pipeline, but it will be a few weeks before I am able to publish. I am currently away from home a lot of the time, supporting our daughter who has been struggling with cancer for over 2 years. She had a bone marrow transplant at the end of 2016 and everything is going well, but it will be around 9 months before she is fully fit again.
Once back home there are always jobs to be done, but escaping into the loft is always a wonderful distraction as you can imagine.
Cheers,
Ged.

Ged,

I'm very sorry to hear about your daughter, but I'm glad the transplant went well and I wish her the absolute best on her journey and recovery. Obviously taking care of her is the first priority (and second and third!), and I would never begrude you a moment of that. Work on the video only when you have time and inspiration, I can certainly wait! Just enjoy running trains when you get a chance to sneak up to the loft, and leave the videos for a less hectic and trying time. I'll take the opportunity to rewatch some of the classics. :) All the best and again my wishes for your daughter's recovery and improvement,

Philip
