Steam Dreams Tour 14.9.19
« on: September 14, 2019, 10:13:30 PM »
At last. The chance to see something steaming westbound through Bamber Bridge, and rumour had it the loco was going to be 46115 Scots Guardsman. On the platform a local 'expert' told us it was actually going be 6201 Princess Elizabeth. Even better, we thought. 10 minutes later another 'expert' told us it was going to be Jubilee 45690 Leander. Everyone groaned as Leander and Galatea are pretty common visitors. I could also see a problem looming with a westbound train vis-a-vis the sun and, sure enough, the resultant vid is not one of my better efforts and I doubt it will be kept. Still, at least there was no chip fat fryer hanging off the back. Thanks to @crewearpley40 for providing the info and I look forward to next Saturdays Blackpool Pennine Express in the hope it's not a pigging Jubilee.......

I kinda like the sunburst effect!
Vision over visibility. Bono, U2.

You may have noticed from the outset the gigantic red metal structure over the signal box which looks like it's been made from Meccano No. 3 set. Evidently Notwork Fail removed one of the frames from the box and it almost toppled onto the line so it is now propped in place. Very unsightly >:(
