Electricity I think.

I am REALLY sorry Bealman. I simply couldn't resist such an opportunity for a distressingly weak joke. :-[

The Challenger runs like clockwork, smooth and powerful with good sound. the Doodlebug being one of the older releases is alright but a little noisy.

This is a quick video showing how 3mm foam board and Kato Ballast really changes the look of unitrack.

That's more or less what I do Di. Raising the track surround, or lowering the actual track by about 3mm and then adding a bit of ballast and scenickery really takes away the uniformity of Unitrack.

Yep, 3mm foam board butted up to the shoulder of the Unitrack, that's what I do too.

Looking good Di. By the way, how are you getting on with your Ecos? Recommended?

Alec.
You can't beat a nice drop of Southern.

OK, I admit I am seriously jealous, and drooling.

used to model US outline in that Horrible Other scale many years ago, but the big storm caused serious damage to the loft layout [the only way to run US style big consists] so all was sold and I started down the N gauge slippery slope.

you never cease to amaze, and impress, me, each time you update. I am in awe of your work.

I have made a start on the scenics for the Desert/Foothills half of the layout. Using XPS and my hot knife/wire cutter.
