I don't think many of  us could get into a set of 1950s RAF uniforms let alone, me getting into my 1970s number 2  uniform..
Note the RAF uniforms changed in 1973 from the WW2 battle dress,  to the early version of today's uniforms.. Though there were still a few still with the old ww2 battle dress uniforms when I joined up in late 1976, they were changed when your old uniform wore out not on-mass.

A standard football pitch minimum size is 100 yards by 50yards that's 300ft by 150ff. So in N gauge 6oomm by 300mm.

I saw an 'OO gauge' Queen Mary trailer advertised  by Oxford and wrote suggesting they shrink it to 'N'. A reply said that they would put it on the list of 'possibles'. Maybe if everyone wrote they might actually do it. :)

if only I could have the room to have a Vulcan turning off the runway with a couple of mk.9s behind, a Land rover to pick up the brake chute, and a tug with tow-bar ready to drag down to the dispersal.

control truck by the runway ........

sorry no room for trains  :-[ >:D
