Thanks for the info guys, especially those other links Railwaygun, somehow missed those when I searched.

I think I’ll take a punt on one of the bridges and see what I can do with it.

Just recieved a couple of the Outland footbridges, they are basic, simply clip together and need a lot of cleaning up but could be prove useful.

Unfortunatly one of the walkways is slightly bent into a downward curve.

I’m wondering if I can correct this by immersing it in hot water, has any one had this problem and/or tried the hot water treatment on their products?

Also I need to adjust the length of one of them so can anyone recommend a glue?

Warm water should do if the plastic is polystyrene.  Similarly plastic kit glue will work.

Hot water seems to have done the trick, so hopefully on to a bit of “butchering” later tonight.

Outland Tractors...3D printed.

Just came across these on ebay, 2 x 1950s/60s style tractors and 2x Bulldozers.

Has anyone bought these products from China?
If so what are they like in scale and quality please?

To be called pompous and arrogant - hell of a come down.
I tried so hard to be snobbish and haughty.

I only have the open barn/shed kit that hasn't been installed as it looks rather too chunky/overscale for the purpose I had in mind.

https://www.outlandmodels.com/index.php?id_product=96&id_product_attribute=0&rewrite=small-shed-for-autos-goods-n-scale-1160-outland-models-railway&controller=product&id_lang=1

Some of their other offerings look a lot neater and well finished. Buildings will mostly need glazing by the looks of things.

They have their own website with several currency options inc GBP: https://www.outlandmodels.com/index.php.

What is handy is they show dimensions, info that isn't always given on the Ebay pages. I haven't compared prices -

Tractor without driver: 21 mm x 35 mm x 24 mm(H)

Tractor with driver: 21 mm x 52 mm x 24 mm(H)

Trailer: 15 mm x 36 mm x 13 mm(H)

The kits aren't expensive so worth a test order and hopefully you can squeeze under the evil PO customs fees.

Those tractors and bulldozers look pretty good if the scale is reasonable.

I have ordered their roadside convenience store as a basis to kit bash for a small UK supermarket. At under £7 it should save a lot of time building from scratch the base shell for the building. It looks like it will need a bit of work and detail added to make an acceptable model

I will post photos of the build

Yep,

This is a Multi-storey car park I made from one of their kits. It has since been detailed. Maybe a bit small but no smaller than Scalescenes effort. The material is 3d printed and is a soapy plastic.
