Grey class 31 help

hi there i wonder if someone can help me out please i have looked online i want a class 31 preferb dcc if possible for my layout but the only one i can find is that bright yellow one is there a class 31 out there somewhere hiding that is in the grey br livery or any grey livery please somene help i have been pulling my hair out (whats left of it over this lol)

The closest you'll get is the old RF grey 31 with a red stripe that Bachmann produced a few years ago. Not DCC ready, but I understand it would not be too difficult to convert. You may find second-hand examples knocking around on Ebay.

Here's the Railfreight red-stripe Class 31 mentioned above:-



It is fairly easy to convert to DCC being of the split-chassis design, doesn't even require a digihat. All that's needed is to to file/Dremel off the two tags on the chassis that press on the motor contacts and solder the orange/grey wires direct to the motor. The red/black wires can be soldered direct to the top of the chassis.

I just bought a 31 in Dutch livery.  I didn't even realise Farish had made one in that livery, but I think it's split from a set.
