Title: Intermountain or Kato F7?
Post by: Matt Helm on August 17, 2011, 03:47:44 PM
Hi all, I'm Looking to purchase an F7 A/B set in Santa Fe Warbonnet scheme, Are the Intermountain models available in UK? Also are they a better model than the Kato F3/7 which seems readily available but is quite an old model. Regards, Matt.

Can't find the Intermountain for sale in the UK. The Kato F7A is on sale at Osborns.
Model Junction has the F7a listed as advance reservation, due November/December, so it might or might not be new tooling?

Hi

As Poliss  says i dont know of anyone who stocks  this loco   by intermountain in the U.K.  both  locos   are excellent  i   would tend to go  with the  Kato   A/B   unless you wish to   write to this  guy  in the states  to  see if he can  find out  more information for you  from Intermountain    ensure  you mention  your looking for  N  scale  as Josh  mainly deals with HO

You may have to go for the Kato, a quick flick around two of the larger online stores I deal with have no stock of the F7A & B, that is Trainworld and Discount Trains Online both in the USA, a pretty good indication that they are sold out.
