Does any one else suffer this syndrome?
Spent the last two evenings looking for my spare reels of wire to wire in the extra power feeds I need.
The dremel seems to have dissapeared as well.
Hope its just a case of SWMBO tidying up and not my memory going.
I suffer it too, I put things in a safe place and then when needed I cant find it until I have improvised or stopped looking for it :worried:
The other way to find things is to buy a replacement, which will attract the missing item out of hiding.
I can go one better sadly, :-[ I can put something down, like my stanley knive or pencil, and then can't find it 5 minutes later. And what makes it even more annoying is I haven't even left the train room since I last used it! :worried:
It's okay, it will always be in the last place you look, so look there first ;)

Yup... it is, indeed, a syndrome! It's in a box filled with hundreds of spare parts & pieces! Down in the bottom, hugging the box side, poor light, can't see it.... :veryangry:

This is what happens to me all the time. I made a gear wheel load in a wooden frame to put on a flat car, I was not happy with it but I was given advice from many members here so I started weathering it more and put it down so it could dry - I have not found it since. That was a few months ago, I have searched everywhere, the flat car is still on my bench where I left it but that gear and frame is still missing :'(
cheers John.
My Son bought me a boxed set of very high quality open end and ring spanners many years ago,
I gave my old spanners to my younger Sons to work on their bikes but they insisted on using my new set, the little Bs used to leave them out in the weather so I decided to hide them, trouble is I forgot where I hid them and even when we sold the house and packed it up they could not be found

I lose things all the time. Just been cleaning my track with IPA. Put the bottle top down then couldn't find it for ages.
It was slap bang under a new lineside building which I've made but not fixed down yet. I must have moved the building whilst cleaning the track and put it down right on top of the bottle top.
Only me in tonight so it can only be me. Strange thing is....I don't even remember moving the lineside buiding !!

I wondered where that came from !!
Me thinks we are getting back to the "old age" problem again - (http://www.allemoticons.com/People/OldFart.gif)
Now if I can just remember where that link was :confused1:.......
I'd love to know where all the missing socks, ballpoint pens and pencils disappear to. ???
My theory is that the rings around Saturn are composed of missing bits and pieces from Earth.

Actually the Little Bs were my Step Sons and after we moved house it was to another State (Queensland), after being there for 6 months I left the little Bs and their cranky Mother :claphappy: :claphappy: :claphappy: :claphappy: :claphappy: :claphappy: :claphappy: :claphappy:

That sounds like a decent bit of weathering to me. Or is it camouflage?
