Title: Modern CO2 tanks in n gauge
Post by: scottishlocos on November 04, 2012, 01:02:26 PM

Hi all

I would like to model the train above what are the best options for the tank wagons in n gauge?
I am not up to scratch building them a kit or kit bash maybe possible. My current solution although incorrect wagon is to use the Peco LPG tank and re-livery it does anybody have any other ideas maybe a wagon from overseas?

many thanks

Dave

Hi Dave,

I was planning a short train of gas tank wagons and thought that the peco lpg would be the closest after a re-paint. I'm planning to have a mix of lpg, O2, CO2 and N2 to serve a 70's cylinder filling yard. I think I may wait until there are some wagons with sockets for Dapol's magnetic couplers because I want to do shunting without hand intervention !
