Title: Bachmann Collectors Club
Post by: MikeDunn on October 24, 2012, 01:00:40 PM
SWMBO just got the wagons from the BCC today (yes plural - she signs up to OO and N).  Nice little models, shame they do the same one in each scale though

Have attached one below, shown on my (non-existant) layout  :D

OK, OK, I'll do one a bit later  :smiley-laughing:  Just don't expect anything other than a little bit of track  :P

Hi

Is it worth joining this?

How much is it and what do you get for your cash?

Cheers

Mac

Just received latest club magazine, calendar and a very nice Xmas card. No new N gauge special edition Locos unfortunately - maybe next time.
Very nice package overall and well worth the subscription
:) :beers:

Oops... got that wrong there's a Fairburn 2-6-2T in Caledonian livery. Looks nice but not my scene.
:beers:

That calendar is pretty good - just working out the best place in the railway room to hang it. Somewhere away from the track cos for some reason things I fix to the wall always seem to fall down. Must be dodgy plaster - don't you think?? That's my story anyway and I'm sticking to it!!
:-[ :) :beers:

You know, the more I look at that Caledonian Fairburn, the more I like it. Its a very pretty loco. I might just have to get one - I do have a preserved railway for a layout so I can justify it (that's my story anyway).

I've been googling to find the 'real' 2085 loco in the Caledonian livery and come up with these links.

Does anyone know what that coach is in the last photo. Looks like a Mk1 but not familiar with the livery?
:beers:

Don't ask me why, Dave, but that looks naff for some reason. Sorry, but I prefer the old Pullman brakes which were still used with the MK1 coaches.

I've got the Mk I and the older type. They both look great IMHO.
