That's one hour of extra modelling people, use it wisely  :D

Maybe we should update this thread after the weekend - "What did you do in your extra hour of modelling?"  ;)

Takes my internal clock a fortnight to adjust.

Perhaps I should climb into the back of the airing cupboard and sleep till next April!

When you have kids it's up an hour early and cranky kids in the evening. The joys of parenting.

Think it will be an extra hour in bed here as well.
Just need the dogs to adapt to the change as well- they seem to wake up at some horrid hour (currently 0600 hrs)

When I had cats I had the same problem, they still wanted their breakfast at their time  :veryangry:

I used to despise when this happened when I was working but now the biggest hassle is changing all the clocks  :'(

cheers John.

Clocks were turned back in Oz at the start of this month that is all except the state I live in Queensland, talk about bloody confusion  :confused2:

Queenslanders think the cows will get confused when its time to get milked but I think its the brainless dudes that cant read the time if its an hour out  :smiley-laughing: :smiley-laughing: :smiley-laughing:

LOL

Actually, the government have been thinking about scrapping it in the last few years.

Clock shifts are nonsense.  If it's too dark to milk the cows, milk the cows later.  If it's too dark for the kids to walk to school (do any kids walk to school rather than being dropped off in a 4x4 these days?), change what time school starts.  Changing what the time *is*, rather than what time you do things, is just bizarre.

Nothing new under the sun! Those that are old enough will know that this has been done before, they trialed it for a couple of years, (can't remember the exact years). Apparently it caused too many problems so the then Government reverted back to what we have now.

Think years ago we (the UK) were 2 hours behind Europe for a while. Also remember in the late 60's being issued with a reflective armband to wear when I and most of my classmates WALKED to school in the dark. Happy days eh !

Warning......boring history/fact post............
About 10 years ago the French decided that they should be the base of time line and not the UK because they are mainline Europe.since sinse then they have begged the EU to let them have their way but so far its not been granted.
One country that wanted to opt out of the change was/is Scotland soooooooooo..we in the UK would be out of step with Scotland.
Causing us to alter our watches etc. etc every time we cross Englands northern border.
Chaos could/would ensue
End of boring History lesson

I had those as well!!  Forgotten that.  Orange with a reflective strip through the centre.....

French are extremely jealous that time is measured from London.  It used to be Paris but swapped to Greenwich and have been trying to get it back ever since...

My bedside clock changes automatically, it even resets itself if there is a powercut, so I don't do anything till I get up and when I do I know the new time thanks to that clock.

I do have a clock on the wall beside my computer and when I went to change that one I realised I had not changed it back in the spring, so that saved some time.  Just goes to show how often I look at that one  :smiley-laughing:  :smiley-laughing:  :smiley-laughing:

cheers John.

SWMBO did most of them last night ... I left mine until today (as one was my alarm clock - got up an hour early ... and yes, that was deliberate !!!)), and I still have the kitchen clock to climb up to & reset !!!

Spent my 'bonus' hour having brekkie & getting ready for a trip into B'ham for the Tysley Open Day  8)

SWMBO got up early as usual and I slept on woke up and discovered I was left with changing all the clocks.
Spent the extra hour sorting out the rest of the squaddies on Instep Halt.
