Hi,
I wouldn't use the term 'lovers' exactly...
I did mention this a couple of days ago on another forum, killed that conversation stone dead  ::)
With a goodly bit of Kenny Everett last night and now this, you don't think they've started trying to actually entertain us again by any chance  :smiley-laughing:

Regards, Gerry.

Thanks!  Let's hope it's better than the last three episodes that were made.

I'm a bit of a Red Dwarf fan...Mrs Dreyfus is a huge fan. I have not had the 'pleasure' of the latest series...can't get Dave in our area. :(

Not Red Dwarf, but Craig Charles is commentating on Takesi's Castle. Japanese gameshows are so cool!

I can't get "freeview" Dave as we get Freeview Lite in Mid Wales which doesn't include Dave.

However I have no problem by using

The beers are cooling.
I'm so looking forward to the new series.

I do agree with Tank about the last couple of series not being very good.
Maybe this gap is going to produce better.

Let's comment tomorrow.

BIG fan of the Dwarf....(50 out of 50 on the Dave website quiz...actually not sure if I am proud of that  :confused1:)

...Beloved and I have two copies of every episode up to series 8 on DVD, plus some original videos and both smeg up tapes. Only one DVD copy of Back to Earth, as its just not in the same league.

Verdict on first Series X episode?

Better than I thought it was going to be, some laugh out loud bits, and Kryten's new look not quite as jarring as I thought it would be.

However, not sure I like the direction its going in, not sure its the right word, but more of an "Adult" feel to it? Bit more "sitcom"?

It was certainly better than I thought it was going to be.
Kryten looked as if he had stepped out of Dynasty though :-X

Yes, much better than that one-laugh (a remark about Kryten having vacation in the broom cupboard) effort a couple of years ago!  :D  Where's Holly though? Is the new computer in next week's teaser going to be a permanent cast member?

Anyone noticed in the classic Camille episode that followed how much Kryten's attempts to call Rimmer a smeghead sounded like a two-tone train horn?

Really enjoyed the episode last night.  Great to see it back on track.  I too noticed that Kryten's face was a little different.

I thought they were all looking a lot older, grayer and wider. But I guess they're supposed to have been in space for years.

As a hologram I suppose Rimmer should look much the same, though perhaps more subject to breakdowns or loss of signal...

If he relied on the mobile signal in my area he'd never be visible ::)

I thought that the first episode was most excellent and am looking forward to the rest, the one liners were epic and kept me laughing throughout and after a 12 year wait, well worth it!!!!

Here's hoping for Red dwarf 11 etc etc etc!!

I think Lister has aged the most, must be all that Eastenders nonsense Craig has been doing, or Coronation Street or which ever one he is/has been in.

'Must have been a moose'!!!
