It does look superb (especially without a huge coupler stuck on the front) :thumbsup:

I'm flabbergasted that Railway Modeller have a Facebook page! It doesn't seem that long ago that they refused to let advertisers put web page addresses in their adverts!

:laugh:

I made the mistake of looking at this when SWMBO was sitting next to me.....

"Oh, isn't that a sweet little engine, are you getting one?"

the problem is it will make the four cl20s I've already got look like poor cousins, so I'll need to replace them......

can I blame it on her ?

"Well you said you liked them ....."

The green version was on display at DEMU ShowCase a few months back;

And I'm fortunate enough to have one of the blue ones on its way to me to review for Rail Express Modeller.

Do you know if the cab is plastic or die cast ? I'm hoping the latter as I want to be able to adjust the cab windows and fit a token catcher ?

You could try, but you just know you're going to fail/pay for it in another painful way :-X

Hi Gang;

It certainly looks the business.
And perforated beams too....
Make sure to mix & match bogies for appropriate renumberings!!!

I won't make Leamington....but I may have to reserve one..or two..or three!!!

I've just made a post in the class 20 thread on the review section on here, but i'll post it here too:

Good news!!! We have just received notification that our order for the green and pristine blue 20's are currently being picked at Bachmann HQ. So we should be getting them tomorrow, friday at the latest! I'll get some pics as soon as they touch down

None of the body is die-cast - it's all plastic.
