Title: Dapol Class 56 - News

Dapol have released news on the Class 56 they're making.  Both Romanian and Doncaster built versions are to be released, dcc socket, super creep motor, room for sound....

Some more info posted by Dapol on Rmweb:

These will be the inital liveries for the Romanian Built Version:

56019 Railfreight red stripe grey
56013 Triple grey coal sector
56026 BR Blue
56018 EWS

They also say that a large logo blue should be in the next batch.

I'll defintaly be getting one of the EWS ones and probably a large logo one when released.

I suspect the coal liveried 56013 will join 58042 in my very small retained UK fleet.

An interesting choice this one, as it spent a few days down in Cornwall back in the early 1990s to assess whether or not these locos were suitable to replace pairs of 37s on the silver bullets.

I'll be aquiring 2 Doncaster models,one in BR Blue and the other in large logo cos I'm a Donny lad!
It'll keep my Donny 58 company.

i like 56s, probably get a romanian one in blue and a donny one in railfreight
