Wow, neat product! That nicely removed the need for track power and the associated problems of reduced power for locos and the fact that the lights turn off whenever the train stopped!
One of our members Mike Fifer sells these on his site

Yes but the postage quote for six to the UK is:
USPS Priority Mail International -- $41.55; USPS Express Mail International -- $49.10
Usual inflated US postage costs I'm afraid. It's actually somewhat cheaper to send them to New Zealand  Brian
:o :'(
Shame - I'd have indulged :veryangry2:

Crikey and heres me thinking Easy Peasy was a Linux operating system designed for Notebook Computers, shows how much I know :-[ :-[ :-[
Good idea, but could get very expensive in batteries, even if you buy the job-lot ones from Poundland! :worried:
Then you also have to dismantle your coaches every time to change them as well. Track power is still the better option I reckon ;)

Can we not look at getting an order together guys and get one of our stateside members to look at the costs of shipping locally and then forwarding to us. N Scale supply also do them ($7.99) but have a minimum order costs of $50 for international plus $44 for the fist lb weight then $4 a lb after.
There must be a way of doing it.

Nice looking system but at £14.80 per coach it is a bit on the pricey side :o

Last night I emailed Fifer Hobbies and exchanged a few emails with Mikes' wife Robin.
They are aware there is an issue with their checkout shipping cost and initially she told me they refunded the extra shipping once the order has gone through.
I asked if there was anyway of finding out the shipping cost before placing an order.
Robin replied saying if you contact them once you know the shipping weight and destination, she would be able to give you the actual cost of shipping and if happy the order could be place then.
cheers John.

Are your maths right John ? I found them listed at 9.95 euros in the catalog but that is enough for 8 axles
. Thats around £1 each

I was writing about the lighting strip
Not that part that picks up the power - sorry for not being clear :-[
I'm just on my second coffee so not quite human yet  ;)
Almost human after 2 coffee - some people have all the luck :bounce:
don't suppose any of our trade members want to become an agent!!!
Nope. Besides which the DCC concepts stuff is I think better for a lot of UK outline as you can space the lights to compartments. For open vehicles you can use cheap lighting strips from Rapid Electronics plus a few pennies of rectifier chip.
awwwww
I wanted to see my grand daughter's face when she touches the coaches with the magic wand and the lights come on !!!!

I got this message from Rapido in the US
Thanks for getting in touch! We do have some stockists in the UK that carry our products, but as theyorder from distributors and not directly, we don't know which ones. Iwould call around to the stockists that carry American outline and ask. Best regards, Jason-- Sign up for our free monthly newsletter! any one know who stocks lots of US stuff...
My knowledge of US outline could be written on the head of a pin, but Plus Daughters carry quite a bit and so do the Signal Box. However, the Signal Box website is being revamped (huzzah!!)
