Title: Advice required please
Post by: Firstone18 on October 28, 2026, 08:37:08 AM
I have recently posted twice on the general section but neither post has appeared in the recently added so members will not have seen them.
Can one of the mods please advise why this is?
TIA

No idea, I'm afraid. Like others, I use "all unread." Working fine. One for @Tank ?

You don't see your own posts, but others do.

This one did appear in the recent unread though? I'm sure in the past a new topic I've posted has appeared in the recent unread section. I'll leave it for now and see what happens when I next start a new topic.
Cheers.

The "Unread posts" list is unique to each member, and shows threads that have new entries since you last viewed the thread...
A topic you started or were the last to post in, will be listed for other members until they view it but won't appear in your "unread" list until someone else posts in the thread I e. there is a new reply you haven't read yet. (by default it assumes you read what you posted, though we have doubts about a few members on that one...)
