With respect you might need to "read the room" a little better.
The vast majority of users on this forum either live in the UK or are from the UK.
There's no equivalent to US gun culture.
Less than 1% of the UK population is licenced to own a firearm.
Handguns are pretty much banned altogether, rifles are permitted for pest control (not the human kind) or target shooting.
In 2021, out of a population of ~ 67 million, there were ~0.5 million with shotgun licences and ~ 150,000 with firearms licences.
