Hi
I'm doing some wiring on my layout and while it is on it's side the tiny "Limited Clearance" signs that I'd made and put on all faces of these bridges became clearly visible. I like to try and put in detail that you see on the real thing, but what do people think? Is this going a bit too far....?

Railsigns.co.uk has a lot of material worth checking!
Better that than "A bridge too far"
If you have the skills and patience required, then always go for the ultimate detail, makes the difference.

Not at all. I think this is fantastic!
You go for it!
I have several examples of small details that you can't even see from the punters' side at shows, but I know they're there - well actually even I forget some of them after 30 years :) Recent case in point being a woman beating the %^£$ out of a rug, in a little scene behind my old town wall. I was cleaning out some cobwebs and managed to dislodge her, and it was an absolute pain to get tweezers back in the space to rescue and re-glue!
It's the little things that make the difference.
