A nice mix of steam, modern and wagons. I'm so pleased to see sound fitted 37s at long last.
Happy to see the 37 get the sound upgrade.
I was half expecting the 4MT to return soon - probably closer to the Fairburn tank release to be honest. I was half surprised it didn't get a sound upgrade too and the preserved 80135 in BR Green didn't feature
still no 25/3 :(
the 37/7 and 24.5t wagons are good additions though
i may be tempted but i'll wait and see what they look like

I am thinking the 25/3 is possibly the biggest class of diesel not yet available in RTR DCC models now. Perhaps this is Farish's next target, would be amazed if any other manufacturer did it as its a whole new chassis for one class, whereas Farish will share it with the other rats
All pretty thin considering just a month to TINGS. No doubt I'll get some of those 24½ tonne minerals, although I think they've missed a trick in not doing a weathered 3 pack. After all, I keep being told I haven't got the minerals ;)

There's always a chance of a new tooling announcement pre-TINGs but I'd accept less likely with 2 new toolings announced today. Maybe more 20 & 37 varieties?

I bet they are, 75 quid for a OO coach. Even more ludicrous than N prices.
But it's how things were in the old days - Hornby would have a yearly big reveal for one or two new items, nothing else but reliveries.
I understand that the yellow triangle on the 24.5Ts was to enable easy identification between them and the lower capacity 21Ts.
Does anyone have a date in respect of when the triangle started to be applied?
Well I am waiting for the new release Class 20. I will sell on one of my greens and the blue, for the new versions with Scottish token exchange. My layout Cromarty can be run from steam era BR through green diesel and up to earlyish blue. And there is a green 2 car 101 with whiskers which I fancy (for when operating in the green diesel era). It will go alongside the one with small yellow panels. I don't need any more mineral wagons. For the 24T I have a couple of Dapols. My two Standard 264Ts are fine. I have all the 37s I need.
Very pleased that the original purchase price plus the additional cost to have
@Ensign Elliott weather and renumber my two 4MT tanks from the original 2016 run to late crest Southern region locomotives is still less than the discounted cost of the 2026 run. By quite a long way.

I'm not sure that CL37's count as "modern" these days :D

Good to see the sound version, but nothing for me, just have to wait and see what other 37 liveries they come out with. ROG ones would be good.
I think the tooling they've done would have allowed them to do 601 in ROG livery. Admittedly that's now 501 in British steel blue, but a little surprised they've overlooked it. Also somewhat happy as it's the one Mercig did for me!

Quite amazing that some of them have now operated as long with private operators as with British Rail in all its forms.
Personally I thought it was an excellent set of releases, Bachmann showing commitment to the scale. Even if a 37/7 is not what you are after, it's clear many other 37 variants are going to follow.
Appreciate I am new to the hobby so only just starting to build my collection, but the fact my wishlist from releases from over the last 18 months is very long suggests to me Bachmann are doing something right. I get that people who have been in the hobby far longer than me will have less gaps to fill, but I do feel Bachmann get a hard deal sometimes.

Trying to find that myself: Without indicator They come onto the rails early 50's ( Era 4) - Farish lists the yellow triangles as 'Era 5' = post 1956, AI suggests 1959 but not surprised if it wasnt earlier as the the new wagons were soon found not to fit under a lot of existing colliery loaders that the old 21 tonners would, and later auto loading the same as 21t would have defeated the object of the higher cap - so marking them up would have been important... Suggests to me that these wagons would have tended to be marshalled together , rather than just allowed to mix willy-nilly with 21 and 16t opens
I tried watching this last night with the sound off as SWMBO was watching telly. Some interesting auto-generated caption!
All very interesting to see what is considered modern, but I think the prices are getting too high for me.
I hope this will encourage more under 50s modellers to join our hobby.
