Hi,
I have just bought a N guage Graham Farish Duchess Of Abercorn 372176 loco and I presumed it was either DCC fitted or DCC ready. Its never been used and is in lovely condition. I realise now its a anologue locomotive ( I know, I should have asked.) Does anyone know if its possible to get DCC fitted in it. Or should I just sell it on Ebay.

372-176 is, as you say a Bachmmann version of an original Farish Poole model, produced not long after Bachmann bought out Graham Farish and moved production to China. The short answer is that it is possible to fit DCC but is not straightforward as the chassis requires drilling out to take a "Digihat" in order to isolate the bottom motor brush. There may be someone on the Forum who could do the work for you, but alternatively if it is a Duchess you are after, you could sell the one you have and look for the later tooled (and much more highly detailed) DCC ready one with coreless motor, putting the money towards that.
Hi Roy,
Thanks for your advice. I probably will put it on Ebay as someone will be pleased with it.
