Delighted to see the 'C' class back. Hardly a rule 1 model as it was seen all over the south of England. Would have been nice to have a Southern livery one, though.
Can I be the first to say "Nothing for me here"?
In N gauge...
I have a C class. Don't need two (I have three Ns, but that was before I retired).
My Hall runs quietly and so I don't need to replace it with a shiny one yet. No modified Halls in late crest yet either.
In OO gauge...
Since I have 313s coming in N, for £225 each. I don't need one in OO for £300, and I'm being very good in OO and sticking to a strict SR 1970s theme. Besides, it looks jowly round the cheeks in OO.
Earlier this year I bought two mint secondhand triple packs of Tunnel Cement presflos for £96. I thought that was expensive. Then I saw Rails asking £95 for a single triple pack, but oh no, that was good value too. The price of a new single wagon, with 15% discount, is £47.
I think we are getting good value in N, compared to the orribly oversized folk.

Modified Hall 7904 "Fountains Hall", lined BR black with early emblem
Modified Hall 6960 "Raveningham Hall", GWR Lined green with GW crest
Hall 4936 "Kinlet Hall", BR lined green with late crest
Hall 4962 "Ragley Hall", BR lined green with early emblem
The C Class 0-6-0 is to be produced in SE&CR lined green and in BR black with late crest.
All six of the steam locomotives will be available in DC (DCC ready) or DCC sound fitted versions.
The class 66 is to be re-run in GBRF Europorte, Freightliner and DB Cargo liveries. No DCC sound versions available.
They will also be re-running the FNA flask wagon in BR and DRS blue liveries. Hopefully the BR one won't have the big numbers on the flask cover!
The 24t ore hopper will see two running numbers in "Stanton" red and another two in "Cadbury Bournville" yellow.

That's fictitious! Cocoa beans arrive in sacks, and there is no such thing as waste chocolate!

The hoppers are more likely to have carried fuel for the boilers which provided steam cleaning of equipment. For my 'Career Train' I used the Dapol version

Mainline, Dapol and Bachmann have all released hoppers with Cadbury branding. Can they all be wrong?
Photos show Cadbury's had vans and opens with their branding on, but I've yet to see any hoppers of any type.

I'll probably get the "C" Class for its chassis and try to source a 3d printed Caledonian "Jumbo" and tender.

Having now had the deco samples shown, I have wasted no time ordering Kinlet Hall, BR Green, Late Crest with sound, a nice alternative for the cross- country services that used the GC, these locos went as far as Leicester Central, and sometimes (albeit rarely) Nottingham Victoria.
