ive been a dedicated Leicester Tigers supporter since I was small enough to go under the turnstile! I started watching the England Red Roses about 3 seasons back in the 6Nations women's series and so I've gone on to watch the current World Cup rugby matches of both England and most of the other games.
If you haven't been tempted you've missed a unique experience of seeing these teams evolve as they've met stronger opponents and needed to hone their game plans. It's no longer a women's game but top class rugby union played by teams of women!
The defeat of NZ Black Ferns by Canada has set up a final of the top 2 RU women's teams in the world and both are determined to carry off the cup! I urge you to abandoned soccer, cricket, golf etc on this Saturday and watch the game for free on BBC - you can't get a ticket for Twickenham as all 85,000 are sold!

I wish the women well in the final.
I'm very much a football man but have tried very hard over the years to get into rugby.
I've seen Bristol Bears a few times but I'm afraid that rugby just doesn't do it for me at all.
Both the World Cup semi finals were played at Ashton Gate (my team Bristol City and Bristol Bears home ground).
Both SFs were sell outs and from reports went a very long way towards raising the profile of women's rugby.
Enjoy the game on Saturday.
I shall be supporting Canada - not because I'm in Wales (we aren't usually that petty) but because I think they are the better side - but may the best win.
I have been enjoying the Women's Rugby World Cup and Saturday's final will be interesting to say the least. On paper England (Red Roses) should be the favourites to win but Canada has proven an exciting team and are the dark horses. I shall of course be supporting England!

PS I was stunned at Ellie Kildunne's pace when she flew past four hapless French defenders to score her second try last weekend...
For those who missed England v France...
Not one way traffic by any means but in the end the Red Roses pulled away to win.

Thanks Tim
A repeat of 11 years ago in the final. Wishing England well and the team
Yes Ellie kildunne has pace but looking at England the driving maul making metres and Meg Jones could play a part
Yes!!!! Well done The Red Roses...
