Title: Graham Farish TTA’s
Post by: Dragonboy on September 03, 2025, 06:08:45 PM
Evening guys. I've just taken delivery of 2 of the above tank wagons which have some form of coupling arrangent which I've not previously come across. This is the normal looking coupling which seems to held in some form of metal spring.

I was wondering if anyone has converted this type of wagon to Dapol Esi shunt couplings and if so how you did it.

I am loathe to attack it blind as it were.

TIA

The Farish TTAS (if that's what you've got) are fitted with normal NEM pockets and the existing rapidos can be pulled out and replaced by Dapol couplings just pushed in. I used the plain non-magnetic nemcoups, one short and one long on each wagon, to give nice close coupling.

Many thanks for your response. I feel more confident about pulling them apart now.
